✅Position:  Fleet Supervisor

Hesu Investment Ltd We are seeking a dedicated Fleet Supervisor to join our team and contribute to our mission of fostering a positive environment.

Job Summary:
Fleet Supervisor is responsible for managing a company’s fleet of vehicles and ensuring that they are maintained, compliant with regulations, and efficiently utilized. The role involves overseeing vehicle operations, supervising drivers, and managing the maintenance, logistics, and safety within budgetary while meeting company and customer requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and planning transport systems, including routes, schedules, infrastructure, and modes of transportation.

Route Planning:

  • Developing efficient transportation routes for vehicles within the fleet to minimize fuel consumption, reduce travel time, and meet delivery deadlines.

Vehicle Allocation:

  • Assigning vehicles to specific routes or tasks based on factors such as vehicle capacity, type, and availability, as well as customer requirements and delivery schedules.

Optimization of Resources:

  • Maximizing the utilization of fleet resources, including vehicles, drivers, and equipment, to achieve optimal productivity and cost efficiency.

Maintenance Scheduling:

  • Coordinating vehicle maintenance and servicing schedules to minimize downtime and ensure that vehicles are safe and operational.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fleet, including scheduling container pickups, deliveries, and transfers to meet customer demands.
  • Update smart sheet and give daily truck report.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting transportation operations.
  • Any other duties given by manager or supervisor

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Previous experience of 3+ years in fleet management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations (DOT, EPA, etc.).

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use fleet management software and other tools.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, transportation, or any related field management is preferred.

Certifications (optional but beneficial):

Fleet management certifications such as Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) or similar are advantageous.

Working Conditions:

  • The role may require occasional travel for fleet inspections or meetings.
  • Work in an office environment with occasional visits to the warehouse or vehicle maintenance facilities.
  • Some irregular hours may be needed for emergency situations or fleet operations.

Location: Dar es Salaam

Hesu Investment Ltd We are seeking a dedicated Traffic Marshall to join our team and contribute to our mission of fostering a positive work environment.

Job Summary
The Traffic Marshall is responsible for directing and controlling traffic on construction sites, roadworks, or at events to ensure the safety of workers, pedestrians, and drivers. They monitor and direct vehicles to ensure smooth flow, avoid congestion, and prevent accidents. They work closely with construction workers, contractors, and other personnel to maintain a secure and organized environment. They are key personnel in ensuring the safety of workers, pedestrians, and motorists by providing clear guidance and maintaining safe traffic movement in potentially hazardous or congested areas. Traffic Marshalls are particularly crucial in construction zones, where there may be temporary road closures, diversions, or obstacles that could impede the flow of traffic.

Qualifications for Traffic Marshal in ICD/CFS.

Educational Requirements

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications in traffic management, logistics, or occupational safety are highly desirable.

Professional Experience

  • A proven track record with at least 1–2 years of experience in traffic control, logistics,coordination, or safety management, preferably in a high-traffic industrial environment such as dry ports, warehouses, or logistics hubs.

Technical Competencies

  • Comprehensive knowledge of traffic flow management, especially for heavy vehicles, machinery, and containerized cargo.
  • Strong understanding of occupational health and safety standards, with expertise in enforcing compliance with safety regulations and PPE usage.
  • Proficiency in identifying risks and implementing preventive measures to ensure safety and operational efficiency.

Certifications and Training

  • Certification in traffic marshalling or traffic management is mandatory.
  • Training in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and first aid is highly preferred.

Physical and Operational Readiness

  • Physically fit to perform outdoor duties, including standing for extended periods and responding quickly to emergencies.
  • Strong ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.

Key Attributes and Soft Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail for monitoring and enforcing compliance with safety and traffic protocols.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to provide clear instructions and coordinate with team members.

Position: Network Database Engineer

Job Summary:
The Network Database Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network systems and the databases that support them. This role combines expertise in data architecture, database systems, and networking infrastructure to ensure reliable data flow, storage, and access across an organization’s technology stack..

Key Responsibilities:

Network Management

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Set up and maintain LAN/WAN, VPNs, and wireless networks.
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, latency, and security.
  • Conduct regular network health checks and documentation.

Database Administration

  • Install, configure, and maintain MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or other database systems.
  • Monitor database performance and carry out tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Create, maintain, and test database backups and disaster recovery plans.
  • Ensure database security, user access control, and data integrity.

Server & Infrastructure Monitoring

  • Monitor server health using tools like Zabbix, PRTG, or built-in Windows/Linux utilities.
  • Manage virtualization environments (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware) and perform regular system updates.
  • Implement and manage backup and restore systems for critical data and services.
  • Provide level 2/3 support for escalated infrastructure-related issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in network configuration and database administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco, MikroTik, HP, or other switch/router vendors.
  • Proficiency in SQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Server.
  • Familiar with Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
    Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, etc.).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical mindset.

Added Advantage:

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, or CompTIA Network+.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Experience with ERP systems or enterprise-level database support.
    Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
