Position: Technical Poultry Sales Reps (3 Post)
Location: Dar Es Salaam
Key Responsibilities:
Sales:
- Responsible for sales as per set targets in the designated sales territory
- Engages new and existing customers to initiate sales of chicks and feeds.
- Acts as a link between growers, resellers and the company
- Acquires market knowledge and timely reports any market updates to the Line Manager
Customer Management:
- Responsible for developing, maintaining and building strong customer relationships in the designated sales area.
- Conducts the different types of customer visits such as post-placement grower visits, reseller visits, prospecting visits, etc.
- Provides appropriate technical support and farm management and commercial advice to growers in line with management guidelines and best practice with the aim of improving the grower’s results.
- Conducts seminars and/or training sessions with growers on company products to boost awareness and sales.
Key Qualifications:
- Diploma holder or higher in Animal Husbandry or Sales & Marketing
- Must be licensed and able to drive a motorcycle and light vehicles.
- Computer literate with above average digital skills
- A people person with strong people and customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
