BFS Microfinance Limited is inviting suitable, competent and self-motivated young Tanzanians to apply for the Loan Officer & Recovery Officers Opportunities available at its various branches available in Lake Regions. Below is the description of the opportunities:

✅Position: Experienced Recovery Officers – 3 Post Based in Mwanza

Responsibilities

• Recovery officer is responsible for recoveries of outstanding debts as he/she will be assigned.
•  Develop recovery strategy for each case and follow up implementation of the approved  strategy to ensure maximum recoveries are made in line with the business strategies.
• Provide daily, weekly and monthly report on progress of Recovery and Projections for  recoveries.
• Conducting field visits to collect payments or assess collateral.
• Preparing and documenting recovery plans and correspondence.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

✅ Position: Experienced Loan Officers – 3 posts

Responsibilities

• To identify potential market and make sales to obtain potential customers/borrowers.
• To conduct thorough loan appraisal to all customers who have shown interest to borrow from BFS  Microfinance Limited.
• Analyses and reviews quality of potential and existing business to ensure maximum profitability
•  Monitor all loan repayments.
• Make follow up for the late repayments.
• To recover all defaulted loans to the individual and branch portfolio.

General Qualifications

•  At least 2 years of experience as Recovery Officer/Loan officer in the respective post from a reputable institution.
• A minimum of at least Diploma and a maximum of A Bachelor Degree in fields of Business, Finance, Economics, Social Sciences and any other related fields
• Should not be less than 20 and not more 35 years of age.
